Regarding this week's assignment and the following one.
By the end of tomorrow you must have finished your report. Make sure that you have included all the necessary details and the relevant changes as you have all presented it and you have the feedback from all of us.
Once you have finished your report, you must send it for peer-reviewing, i.e. choose a friend from your group (not the one that you were a partner during the presentation) and send your report to be reviewed by this person.
Once the person has finished editing, commenting or suggesting (please make sure that you do the editing through track changes or by inserting comments) he/she should send it back so that the author can reflect the changes to produce a final copy to submit.
For these two last weeks I will create folders on the dropbox for you to upload your documents. Next week the person that will be getting assessed is the reviewer not the author. The author shall have the final assessment when the report is submitted.
The deadline for this week will not be Friday at 24:00 hrs but Saturday at 24:00 hrs, since some of you have been busy with the project.
The deadline for the peer review will be Thursday at 24:00hrs and the deadline for submitting the report we shall discuss together on Wednesday.

ReplyDeleteI wanted to ask about the peer review choice. My question is: if i choose a friend to review, comment and suggest on my report, then i will also comment and suggest on theirs?
In addition, i am unclear about something else. I will post my report on the Peer review folder. Then the friend i have chosen will edit it right there, not relocating the document. After the review, i don't understand how I should change my report. Let us just say, my friend says i should have chosen a different video, better time management etc. In this case, what should i change on my report before submitting it on the After peer review folder on the dropbox?

ReplyDeleteRegarding the first question, yes you will form a pair-review but it should be different from the one you worked with for the presentation.
Th second question, yes post your report in the peer-review folder. Your peer will access it from there, download it, work on it and then upload it on the other folder after-peer-reviewed.
Regarding the third folder, it is up to you to accept or reject your friend's suggestions. That is the reason why everything should be done with track changes and comments so you can see what are the changes that your peer made.
The after-peer-reviewed folder is not for you but for the reviewer to submit the report that they have reviewed.
Then we will discuss for you submitting the final report on Wednesday.

DeleteCan you please explain once again what we have to do about our feedback on our blog, if I am not wrong. We (as a group) didn't pay much attention that day,because we were concentrated on the exam. Sorry that I wrote after a week but I thought you would send us a link, or something else.
