The textbook is the most important source for teaching a foreign language. In most of the cases textbook follows a certain model for example,Reading,Writing,Listening,Speaking,Vocabulary and Grammar as well.If the teacher explains all the time but he does not use classroom activities in this case he makes classes boring for pupils.As the teacher says in the video,the teachers can use different activities during the English class which purpose is creating an appropriate and motivating environment such as Brainstorming when I ask pupils to work individually, in pairs or in groups.Apart from textbook, a good teacher should include other activities in order to encourage pupils to learn more and to pay attention during the lesson .through audio visual aids the pupils can be more attentive and they will be more interested to listen to the others and the teacher as well.The pupils can develop their speaking through small group discussion and summarizing etc.there many ideas that I Liked a lot during the video but I would like to emphasize the most important,Listening activity is an effective approach to develop pupils ability for understanding English through listening.Grammar is very important as well because can analyze punctuation,tenses etc. So they analyze the language and the structure that are used and can discuss them in the and of the class.
